"Little things, done repeatedly, and over time, become the big things." Brianna Wiest

Welcome to Tweaks - a gentle, inclusive space for anyone who’s ever felt left out of traditional health and wellness advice. If you’re living with chronic illness, fatigue, stress or simply feel overwhelmed; if you feel you don't fit in anywhere - you’re not alone - and you are in the right place.

At Tweaks, we believe small changes matter. We focus on realistic ideas, science-backed habits, and inclusive support to help you feel better -  in ways that fit your real life. Lasting change rarely comes from giant leaps - it comes from tiny, sustainable steps made with care. Our philosophy is simple: by making tiny, meaningful "tweaks" across key areas of your lifestyle and repeating them to build a habit you can build better health, boost your resilience, and live with more energy and ease.

Tweaks helps you work with seven foundation areas that we think are crucial to your health and wellbeing.

The Tweaks Foundations:

Eat Well | Move More | Ease Off | Be Kind to Your Mind | Build Connection | Have Fun | Sleep Soundly

Each foundation is grounded in up-to-date health science and a gentle, inclusive approach to personal change. There’s no pressure for perfection - just start where you are, make small shifts, and feel the difference over time.

We're also following our own advice, starting out with a tiny idea, seeing where it takes us and we'd love you to come along on this journey with us.

Tiny Tweaks for Every Body.

When you are ready to explore the Tweaks House, knock on the Front Door and let the adventure begin.

About Rebecca

Hi, I’m Rebecca Hyder, founder of Tweaks Health and Wellbeing.

I created Tweaks after many years supporting people living with chronic mental and physical health conditions. I saw how overwhelming and excluding traditional ‘lifestyle advice’ could feel. My background in Psychotherapy taught me that big change is hard — especially when you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or living with health challenges. But tiny tweaks? They’re powerful, doable, and can build into real wellbeing over time. That’s what inspired Tweaks — an approach rooted in empathy, psychology, and lived experience. So often, when people are told to make big changes, the goal (often someone else's goal) can quickly feel unachievable and they can end up doing nothing when what really helps is starting small, feeling encouraged, and building confidence with each step.

I’m passionate about making wellbeing realistic and accessible.

Tweaks reflects a trauma-informed, flexible approach to health and wellbeing - because real life isn’t perfect, and neither are we.

I have over 14 years of professional experience supporting patient wellbeing within the NHS-linked charity sector. I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a B.A. (hons) in Psychology, Sociology and Social Anthropology,

Through Tweaks, I aim to share simple, supportive tools and resources that help real people. Whether you're living with a chronic health condition, navigating life's stresses, or simply wanting to feel better in your own skin, Tweaks Health and Wellbeing is here to support you. I'm so happy you are here.

Every house needs an emotional support pet and at Tweaks, that's Rosie. Rosie has napped through it all - abandonment, chronic illness, tough days. She's always nearby with a stretch, therapeutic purring and a gentle reminder to take time for self-care. She likes to leave her paw prints and tiny cat tips around the Tweaks house. 🐾 Rosie’s always got something valuable to miaow.
